What's the best way to Post a Pic?

I've been using 'Manage Attachments' to upload, then pasting the url into
'Insert Image' I end up posting the pic and an attached thumbnail. Is there
a better way, so I can do either/or?

AFAIK that's the best way on this board. The only disadvantage with posting the url is that lurkers see a red x, where the picture should be; because you have to be logged in to see attached images.

Thanks Nordic Viking, that'll do. I'm going back to posting pics from my collection that I took, so I can get feedback on the pics, as well as the knives/hawks.
