What's the cheapest knife you admit to owning?

We hear about the $600 Sebenzas, the $400+ William Henry's, and the $2000+ customs, but what's the cheapest knife that's part of your EDC, probably better than half say it's an SAK, and most of the balance CRKT's.

For me it's a $17 Schrade Tennessee River Trapper, and a SAK Alox Classic I bought 2 off EBAY for $2.50, kept 1, and gave the other to my 14 year old daughter for her SAK Classic collection.

So how about you what's your cheapest?

A kerhsaw gentlemans knife in brushed stainless bolsters and rosewood handles I paid 3.99 for.

$4.97 Opinel No. 8.

SAK Climber II on sale at Lowes for less than $9 (and it came with a sharpener).

SAK Tinker on sale at Galyans for less than $12.

All three have served me well.

A $3 Chinese serrated tanto-style folder. Great 'throw down' knives for around the ranch. Bought several. Problem is I just can't seem to lose or bust them as planned.

It would be the Super Tinker SAK that I picked up used for $5. It's the only knife that I have on me no matter what other blades I have with me at the time.

A $5 Opinel I ordered recently, but haven't actually got it yet. SHould be here soon though. Other than that I would say a SAK Classic.

Or even better yet the mini Talonite blade I made myself from a free scrap of Talonite, total cost$0 :D .

there is my Opinel, but the cheapest good one I have is a surprisingly solid Imperial trapper type I picked up in a US truck stop for under $5 American.

I've got a CRKT wharnie Mirage that I got for $15--as far as I know that's my cheapest. Good little knife.

i bought an 8$ shrade hawk bill yesterday at home depot. trite as it sounds, the knife isn't bad for an 8$ made in china knife. the blade is very thin and after sharpening it to a 25 degree bevel with a 30 degree secondary bevel it's held an edge ok, not good but ok.

Of the knives I haven't lost over the years, it's a tie between a Victorinox Waiter (~$12.00) and a Cold Steel Mini-Bushman (~$15.00). The Waiter is a great knife for cutting food and the occasional bottle of wine on the beach (but not in November in Seattle :) ), and the Mini-Bushman is a great beater knife for mundane cutting chores that would mess up a nicer knife too much.

My cheapest knife is a Buck I bought for about $30 CND when I was 12 or 13 (about 3 years ago), but it isnt in my EDC. The cheapest EDC I have is a Spyderco Centofante III that cost me $40 USD. I guess I always went for quality over quantity...
