What's the cheapest knife you admit to owning?

Cheapest edc for me is a Mini Socom Elite in auto form. Next is the prototype to my large saber tooth.

A $2 POS knock off of a tanto stiff kiss, stamped out of anonymous Chinese steel. It's actually pretty darn sharp now that I worked it over.

$5.00 Opinels, I own several, but my favorite cheepie are the red handled mora knives. The moras can be found from $8-15 bucks and there hard to beat!

Opinels.

I have several, #'s 6,7,8, and 12.

For fixed blade, the red wood handle Frosts/Mora.

I love cheap but effective cutters!

Frost Mora Clipper and a 4" blade Opinel. Actually, I have several Moras because they are very useful cutting tools that cost very little money. I overpaid when I shelled out $11.00 apiece for'em and still feel like I got a good deal.

They were my first introduction to the zero bevel grind. A truly awesome method of acquiring an edge that'll literally split hairs. I like the fact that they can take some abuse and still be a viable cutting tool.

The Opinel I paid $8.00 for at a MALL(no less)!

Keychain knife someone bought for me at Wal-Mart - $1.00. (and it's a great little knife; will post a photo if I find it.)

Sak tinker is the cheapest but I also carry OLD TIMERS alot that didn't cost much more.

A folding lockback with camo plastic handels. $1.00 + 6% tax from the dollar store. Broke it all apart and used the blade to fix another knife. :)

Slightly off topic, but...
I got Trunks' sword from the anime "Dragon Ball Z" off of ebay for $18.
That said: I would rather have the $18 back :(

Opinel #7 might be the cheapest i have, but use it mainly as a fruit and veggiecutter in the kitchen, not carry

My Spyderco FRNs I guess, about $50 each. Cheapest bali is a $120 BM31. Cheapest auto is my Severtech or Woodard Fer De Lance. I used to have half a dozen or so Kershaw/S&W/CRKT cheapie beaters, but I gave them all away.

"admit to owning"? gee, my whole collection would qualify! Bargains are the name of the game with me. The average price paid for my knives is probably <$20, of a collection that includes a few G10 Spydies, G10 and Micarta Berettas, folders from Buck, Spyderco, BM, SOG, KaBar/Dozier, CRKT, Kershaw, Gerber, and Delta Z.

Cheapest that sees use? probably the Opinel (picnic cooler/beach knife) or the Puma keychain SAK my wife carries, or the KaBar knockoff necker that I carry snorkeling. each about $6.

Lets see... cheapies I'll admit to that I haven't sold off or given away...

$8 Olfa
$30 model knife set(4 handles and about 20 blades)
$5 SAK Classic
$4 garage sale find, 110
$10 Coast Fillet knife

I had my early days of collecting, $20-40 knives and $10 beaters... sold or gave away 95% of em... have a couple UC beaters still.

That would have to have to be the Leatherman I recently won from K.V. Collucci. ;) Other than that, I have a Spyderco Ladybug that I keep on my keychain.

have a ka-bar folding hunter ($17) dozier style 3"..........great little beater....thin and light

also bought a used Apogee for $15........what a great knife: aus8 ..framelock

The only knife I actually carry is an Opinel, < $10.

In my 'collection' is a small box of junk knives I found or that people have given me. I don't admit to having such a box though...
