Just wondering if some knives come with a cool looking belt clip. Since its the only part showing when its in your pocket it seems like someone would flash it up.
Is there after market clips you can find that may be more noticeable.

Thanks

I don't own one but I think the "bat man" clip of the Junk Yard Dog II is actually pretty cool.

I prefer to keep my clips low key. I do like the clip on the Mcusta Tactility models though:

I like that knife and the clip.

On my Steven Segal kershaw it has a clip that reminds me of a Jesus fish.
Crkt urban shark had a nice one also

I think the coolest looking one is the Spyderco wire clip, because it doesn't have the tactical Klingon look of some other designs I've tried. Very low key and feels great in the hand.

I think you'll find that a good percentage of forum members would actually like to make the clips less noticable...

I've got that same model. I have to agree that they are nice clips. Mine is really soft though. Is yours that way or does it hold pretty tight?

Spyderco Military (or Para).

The clip is curved, it rides low enough so it's not "WOW I'VE GOT A KNIFE" but high enough that you're not digging around in your pocket for the knife.

I disagree, I love my Millie and my para, carry the military everyday but the one thing i'd want to change are their clips, the blade sometimes shows when its closed in my pocket while im sitting. The best clip I've ever seen is the wire clip on the Caly 3/UKPK.

It's like a half inch. Not too bad.

I prefer the clip on my T-Mag (similar to the Caly 3/UKPK) when I'm dressing up or in a non knife friendly atmosphere.

I LOVE the clip on my Shane Sibert Diablo Pocket Rocket. And the iced jeweled clip on my Begg GG.

I'd call it medium. Let's face it, it's really a gentlemen's tactical type knife anyway. Medium duty IMHO. The key is to Loctite the screws on the clip for sure. Or check them every other day if you EDC it all the time. It will work a bit loose otherwise.

Agreed! To me, the coolest clip is the unnoticed clip, and STR is definately the master of the low rider clip. Only thing I do to spruce my clips up is to cover them with 3M Stair Step tape, a black, rough textured tape that not only aids in drawing the knife from your pocket but does a good job of hiding the clip against darker pants.

I prefer clips that allow the knife to sit low in the pocket and show little above the knife. Probably why I like the Gerber Mini-covert.

How's much of a pinch does it put on the pocket? Mine's almost nonexistent. I've thought about taking it off and bending it a little to see if that help, but haven't gotten around to it. It's not one that I carry because of the clip. If I can get the clip issue fixed and make some adjustments on the liner lock I think I'll give to my son for his birthday in a few years.
