Whats the coolest belt clip?

I always liked the clip on the benchmade 690. Very short and stout. Almost impossible to bend if you catch it on something.

How's much of a pinch does it put on the pocket? Mine's almost nonexistent. I've thought about taking it off and bending it a little to see if that help, but haven't gotten around to it. It's not one that I carry because of the clip. If I can get the clip issue fixed and make some adjustments on the liner lock I think I'll give to my son for his birthday in a few years.

Sorry, that's what I meant by the word medium. I would say it grips fine but not as tight as some of my other knives such as the ZT's.

I think a lot of it has to do with the clip length and the attachement method. Thsi allows for alot of flex IMO.

The nicest looking one I have is this one...

It's a Beretta Harsey Tactical. It looks better in real life. :)

I like the Spyderco standard pocket clips and the Benchmade arrow clips.

And those clips grip tighter than any knife I have ever owned. I own two large and two smalls of the BH Tacticals.

I have traded my CRK Mnandi away, because I just never used it, but it did have the best pocket clip out there IMO.

I disagree, I love my Millie and my para, carry the military everyday but the one thing i'd want to change are their clips, the blade sometimes shows when its closed in my pocket while im sitting. The best clip I've ever seen is the wire clip on the Caly 3/UKPK.

Agreed. I have a wire clip custom installed on my Para, and wanted to do the same to my Millie but settled for an Endura 4 style clip in tip up.

I wouldn't mind the current Para / Millie clips so much if they were tip up. That's one area each model has room for improvement IMO.

The coolest to me, at least technologically, is the "Roller, ratcheting clip" from the Hawks. Sorry, I don't recall the exact nomenclature or have a pic.

Wow. look at that clip. it's perfect, like new, like it's never rubbed against anything. ever! Thats amazing! How do you do that? You must be one graceful fella. The wire one also looks like new, I suppose? unbelievable!

Yeah, it does. One of my main EDC's too. I guess I'm not hardcore as a knife user because I'm aware of my immediate surroundings.

I think you'll find that a good percentage of forum members would actually like to make the clips less noticable...

I don't really want my clips to be noticeable. I just happen to think the JYDII's is visually appealing.

You know, I am going to have to agree with you. Even though many have commented that they don't like the JYD II clip, I find it quite attractive. As well, the clip has been designed to feel good in the hand.

I also give Kershaw's regular clips top honors. The black clips are incredibly durable and don't chip.

I love the Emerson clips but the Best clip I have ever used was the one on a Grant and Gavin Hawk custom Ram 2, it worked like a gator clip and made it really easy to get in and out of the pocket but held tight.
