I've been looking around on the net and have made some startling discoveries. One of the most confusing is Maxam knives. It looks like Maxam originally made kitchen knives and are now moving into the hunting, folding, lockback region (I'm not exactly sure about that). Anyway, they're knives look like good quality and are made with surgical stainless steel and all, but their prices are very low.
Does anyone know about these mystery knives?
I would appreciate any information you can give me on them (quality, history, value etc.). If you want to see a few of them, go to:
worldofwonders.com
and go to the knives section. Thanks a lot,

you will, probably hear a lot more of this

But "surgical stainless" is code for "the steel is cheap and easy to work". If it was any good, they would give us a real name. Beware of manufacturers who use the term.
I once used a Maxam kithen knife.....definitely of mediocre quality.

Believe me....being this old and having to live with all this experience is not the picnic I thought it was going to be.
