Whats the deal with spyderco knives?

Reason Number One: The Spydiehole. It's AWESOME!! My thumb does not like studs!!
They are SHARP.
They fit my hand, and just work.
Okay, they're ugly (except my Caly 3.5 with CF handles) -- But; they call to meee.
 
I have never seen this "ugly" Spyderco of which you speak. I think that Spydercos are some of the best looking knives among so called modern folders. The new steels, collaborations and value are just a bonus.
