Whats The Deal With The Leek?

The leek is a good little EDC, but I have one problem with some of the models: I don't care for bead blasts, at all. In my experience, I find bead blasts rust quickly, and I prefer different finishes on them. That said, Kershaw has the leek available in other finishes, and I own one in black that I carry when the mood strikes me.

The leek is very fun to play around with, as it has speedsafe assisted opening feature...and the 13c26 steel in mine can take a very fine razor edge that is capable of handling any lighter EDC tasks (great as a paring knife due to the blade profile), but not so much with anything a bit more robust. I gave away my blue smoke version previously, which I thought was a bit lighter if I recall?

Leek and my Skyline are my two lighter use knives and are great to mess around with while watching tv/internet.

Hey guys, once again im making a thread in here asking about a knife. I specifically interested in the smoked blue leek and wanna know the pros and cons. I know i can find this elsewhere but id rather ask on blade forums.
Thanks everyone

I have been carrying the leek since it first came out. I use to be a commercial electrican and I used it every day. I lost mine and I pulled another one out of stock. when I went to get my trailer so I could set up at a gun and knife show there it was. sitting on the tounge of the trailer open and It had been raining all month long. wipe it down asnd then sprayed wd-40 on it. away she goes. I will not give up on my leek.
