What's the diff. between Kershaw Whirlwind & Blackout

no i think the whirlwind has zytel handles, and the other has G10, or something similar - i like the other one, trying to get away from zytel, like G10/CF/micarta better .........

Actually Sifu, I'm pretty sure that they both have polymide handles (zytel-ish stuff).

....difference is in the blade.....the black out has an incline on the top for added strength when uh stabb'ing things....other than that just other cosmetic details like the blade holes....
 
They are pretty much the same knives. . . There is a slight difference with both knives: very very slight difference in the blade shape, the Blackout comes with a black coated blade and the Whirlwind has 3 holes in the blade. Ho. . .and generally, the Blackout is $10 more expensive than the Whirlwind. . .

Both have a "polyamide" handle ~ which is supposedly similar to zytel.
