What's the difference between Endura and Delica

I have been looking through the catalog and I'm not clear on the difference between the Endura and the Delica. Is the Endura basically a larger version of the Delica?

The Endura is larger than the Delica, but there is a pretty big difference in the way they carry and feel.

 Agreed. I have both, and they do feel different in the hand, but other than that they are basically the same knife. Both are excellent choices, it really depends on how big a knife you want to carry, since both are extremely comfortable, and conceal well if that's an issue.

Think there is one that’s “better” then the other. As in is there one that can do everything the other can do, plus more?

They're basically the same blade, but if I had to choose I'd say the Endura. It has a longer blade, and therefore should be better for larger tasks, but it's precise enough to be used for small tasks as well. But honestly, they're pretty much the same, so I don't know as one is "better" than the other. But that's just my $0.02.......

That’s about what I was thinking, I got both, but only room for one in my right front pocket, I carry more then one knife, but once winter ends and I don’t have my coat pockets to load up with knives, I’m again gonna have to start making more selective choices about what to carry.

It comes down to personal preference and the task at hand.

For EDC, i love the Delica, great blade that feels "big" in the hand.

I often compare the Endura/Delica to the Griptillian/Minigrip(had all of them).

My favorite big one is the Endura. On the smaler size, I find the Minigrip slightly superior to the Delica, go figure...

Note: my opinion is subjective. I "voted" with my wallet and kept an Endura and a Minigrip, sold the rest of them. But really, all of them are great knives, and great value!

Exactly, it's all about what works for you. Personally, I went the other way. I normally prefer to carry the Endura over the Delica, unless I'm in a suit or something and the smaller knife would ride better. That shiny pocket clip on the Endura stands out on a suit (I have the Stainless Steel model).

i just ordered my first delica in fg (:
fyi - from kw

endura is a larger version of the delica yes and i have both but there a few key differences to keep in mind.. first i have found the length of my endura blade and handle to be very helpful at times but sometimes all i need in the delica however the endura is much larger to carry in your pocket... if it helps the endura is my edc because i like the longer handle for my hand

Actually, on the #4's, the difference is about 3/4". I believe the Delica's 4.25" closed with a 3" blade & the Endura's 5" closed with a 3.75" blade.

The Endura's basically the larger version of the Delica. As such, the larger knife (Endura) is more useful if you need the greater blade/handle length, but the smaller one (Delica) is a nice EDC & probaby legal to carry in more places, at least throughout the U.S.

can't explain it, but i am more attracted to the delica mainly for it's more tapered end of the handle.
having a shorter blade length here, doesn't make it any less effective for general cutting.
it somehow feels just right either in or out of my pockets.
that's it's drawing power, i suppose.

Thanks for all the responses.

I ordered a Delica 4 in British Racing Green with zdp-189 steel.
