Soldier

Swiss Army Soldier Knife:

* 1. Large Lock Blade for one hand opening
* 2. Phillips Screwdriver
* 3. Can Opener
* 4. Small Screwdriver
* 5. Lockable screwdriver and Crate Opener
* 6. Cap Lifter
* 7. Wire Stripper
* 8. Reamer, Punch
* 9. Seatbelt Cutter (I don't see this anywhere on the thing)
* 10. Key Ring
* 11. Wood Saw

One Hand Trekker

One Hand Trekker Specs

* One-handed serrated locking blade (liner lock)
* Bottle opener with large locking screwdriver & wire stripper
* Can opener with small screwdriver
* Phillips screwdriver
* Key ring
* Toothpick
* Tweezers
* Reamer
* Wood saw
* Life time warranty

Besides the tweezers, these knives look about the same to me. Are they the same length? Anyone who knows the difference, your input would be much appreciated.

Looks to me like the soldier doesn't have the toothpick or the tweezers. What is the greyish looking lining around the handle? Some sort of non-slip feature perhaps?

They are almost the same exact knife. The Soldier has different scales that don't have slots for the toothpick and tweezers. The One Handed Trekker has those slots.

Another difference is the opening hole on the blades and the locking mech. That pic of the OHT is of the "older" opening hole..the new ones have the exactl blade as the Soldier.

The locking mechanism liner protrudes a bit more on the newer models for easier disengagement; although the older liners work just fins if you come across an old OHT model.

All other tools (saw, openers, Phillips) are exactly the same:thumbup:

Whats up with the claim that it has a seat belt cutter?

Like the wire stripper, that's a separate function, not a separate blade, it seems. Perhaps the serrated portion of the main blade.

They've used this model before for the German and Netherlands Army Knives.
