I recently became a fan of the upswept/Persian design after getting a Battlestation. I like it so much I immediately looked for other, larger variations and came across the Tighe Stick and the Chinook. I plan on getting both . Something about that style of blade...it's different and has personality for sure. Definitely not for everyone, but damn it sucked me in. Too bad I'm too late to the game for the earlier Chinook versions. Some bad azz blades. Hey....this thread needs some pics from guys that have Chinooks!
I thought I read somewhere that the Chinook 4 was early 2017, but I could be wrong. Anybody have any guesses?
yep. wanted one but 3.25" blade whereas chinook 4 is 3.89". small blade i have no interest in, but if that zt was 4", id already one it.You should look at the ZT 0460. You will love it. Don't be mistaken even though it is a ZT it is extremely light and not overbuilt at all. The action is a dream. It feels like someone found a genie in a lamp and wished for an amazing knife action.
It has that beautiful upswept blade tip that I bet you will love at first sight. It is sort of like the 450 but way nicer in my opinion. Please do me a favour, do yourself a favour and intimidate your wallet and go look at this friggin knife!!

I believe the ATR Titanium Plain was the first. On a side note, is this the first Japanese made Spyderco that features S30V?
