Whats the hardest thing you've put your Busse through

I started to take the top off a 50 gallon drum whith my NMSFNO
The knife did fine it was my hand that didn't keep up . The only damage was it
removed the finish off the tip .

Pallets, trees, steel plates, other knives, cinder blocks, 2x4s, 4x4s, a vise or two, you know all the usual things. And that was all while I was "Working".;)

What a great job.

Oh yeah I have an Active Duty that has cleaned and skinned 18 deer in the last few years and is still going.

And then one time I stuck a War Boar through my forearm. Not the hardest thing but by far the most painful.:grumpy: Oh well live and learn I guess.

Keep it up boys, beat em' like you stole em'. They love that sort of thing.

...though, I admit it may have been harder on me than the knives. :(

Amen to that - I hate parting with knives. Even if it's one I am not completely in love with, it's so sad to see them go.

If I had children, I would sell them on the black market before I gave up INFI. Sadly, I have no kids, so the INFI must go... to pay for more INFI (and maybe some SR101 too ;) )

I've tried. No one wants to give up INFI for kids.:grumpy:

2nd hardest - chopping through that chain (yeah, I'm that guy).

But the hardest thing I've ever put it through - sending it back to the shop for work and being without my one and only Busse for "two weeks". Oh the HORROR.

Too funny Downtown!! You will always be THAT GUY that cut the chain... In fact you're "that guy" that made me say,":eek:OK, I really need to take a closer look at these Busses." That thread was a true testament to Busse's quality.

I made a tactical PBJ with my SJTAC. still haven't been able to sharpen out all the dings from the extra-chunky peanut butter.

You are a warrior.

I hit a very large river rock the first time I used my FFBM. I wasn't pleased.

So far, mines only been thru a few Douglas Fir Trees. :)

Stabbed my RMD as hard as I could into hardwood (oak, I believe). It penetrated much better than I thought it would. Chipped a bit of the coating off, but that's all.

The only thing my GW has cut is arm hair. I'll have to fix that sometime.

Mostly just batoning alot, i was cutting big sticker bushes with my NMSFNO i swung really hard and went through the stock and hit a sharp rock full swing, it put a small nitch in the blade, i'm very proud of that nitch!

I split a yellowbox fencepost for firewood with my ASH1. Went though no worries. It even hit a couple of nails and cut right through them. Only came out with a couple of little 'teef'.

This isn't a shot of the job, but it's the knife. It's my fave!

Lots of woods stuff... I think the hardest would be chopping through frozen mullet. Here is a pic of the knife back in its natural element after going through a few. Never even needed to be sharpened.

Wow, I had no idea you tested the combat oriented blades in living humans.
"Hey Jerry, the blood grooves on this proto are not deep enough, I am still consci.. ... ...."
