Whats the inside scoop on the KAI Tyrade G-10 LEs

Customer service told me the same thing.

Here's a question. When the blade is open the torsion bar rattles.
Problem or not? Functions just fine.

Not a problem. Some have been a little OCD about this issue and I heard a fix for it is to pack it with white grease.
 
Bought a G10 Tan a while ago, still waiting for delivery. I also ordered JYD II composite, also still in the mail. Does anyone know how these two stack up against one another?

5 minute fix. Open the knife, loosen the screws and remove the top scale.... fill with white grease and reassemble..... problem fixed. I am one of the OCD ones, I hate that rattle, so, anytime I encounter it....it MUST be fixed ;)
 
It does not bother me. It rattles on 2 of my Blurs as well. I replaced the bar on one of them and it continued to rattle. I called KAI they send to send it in, I did and they fixed it. Same thing now as well. Just send it in but I don't wanna send it in. I can't get it out of my pocket long enough to do so. :D

I was always wondering if it was a problem waiting to happen. This rattle is more obvious then those. But if it's not an issue than I'm OK with it. I have a number of Shallot's and Blackout's with not one rattle ever. It may just be the size and space where the torsion bar is. I assume the torsion bar on the Tyrade is large.

I'm glad to hear it's cool. I do have white grease in the event it bugs me.
