What's the latest in smaller knives?

I've at least handled most of those, and they didn't appeal to me.

Do you have personal experience with the Eros? I have one on the way, and at this point give it a 50/50 chance of finding a way into my rotation.

The Eros takes a while to get used to. Opening is, well... explosive. If you squeeze the frame though, you might just get a dent in your finger and the knife stays closed. Eventually it wears in, and that goes away mostly (or you just learn how to hold it, I'm not sure). Also, if you have big fat thumbs that knife is going to be a challenge. The final thing is that I noticed mine had 100% lockup, which seemed sort of odd since any more wear and it would either get lock rock or start over-traveling. I tried to ask CRKT if this was normal, and if they carbidized their Ti lock bars, and they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Anyway, they said to send it in to be replaced, so we'll see what they send back. I didn't have any actual problems with the knife, mind you, and it's very small so perhaps 100% lockup is part of the design? I wouldn't bet on their customer service guys being knife experts though.

I have two of the CRKT Eros 3". The one I've carried for about 4 months now is at almost 100% lock up. I have a brand new one that I just checked and it's at about 80%. Remember everything about this folder is small.
