What's the least expensive S30V steel blade you can buy?

Buck Hartsook runs around $25 street price. Worth every cent...

Gerber makes a S30V ez out for $40.

I got one for 1/2 that the other day. Nice for $21 shipped it can't be beat. The blade is a little odd, in shape. It came hair whittling sharp right out of the box. I only say that about one other S30v knife I have. Spyderco UKPK and it cost 3x more. There were 5 that sold on ebay yesterday for $15 each plus $5.95 shipping. Not working right now they would have been mine. I know I could sell them to friends or give them as gifts. Here's a link.

Another vote for the Buck Vantage Pro. No worries about the heat treat with the Paul Bos etch. I got mine for $44.95 + tax at Bass Pro (it's not on their website, but the Manteca Bass Pro has it in stock).

You can also find the Kershaw Avalanche for around $45.00 if you do some looking. I don't think anyone can beat that.

Spyderco Native and Buck Vantage Pro are my choices. Although I much prefer the CPM version that spyderco offers

Paul Bos heat treats are great, Buck heat treats are great. All S30V is CPM, it is, by definition a powder steel. All myths in this thread are now dispelled, return to normal programming :)

Go with an Avalanche - Kershaw's treat is a bit softer than Buck, but wears better in my use, less prone to micro chipping, etc

or

the Vantage Pro - Buck treats S30V to a higher hardness and it takes a wicked edge
