I was thinking about all the so called EDC knives I have gone through in the last year or so.
None of my EDC in the last year have been bucks until I found the 701.

I can see myself using the 701 as my EDC for years as I really like everything about it.

I know my dads EDC has been the 303 buck for at least the last 15 years if not longer.

Whats the longest time you have carried that special EDC Buck and what model is it?

I used to carry a 425 on a keychain for years. In 1994 I switched over to a Crosslock 180 Solitaire. When Lightnings came out I switched to a 175 green with Zirconium Nitride coating and 2 months ago started carrying the Buck Mayo.

I carried one of the shorter Bucklite's in my back pocket for years before I switched to one with a pocket clip. When I'm outdoors I always add a SAK and a Buck Selector or Bucklite.

When my military issue Camillus demo knife finally
wore out in 1991 I replaced it with a Buck 307
stockman. Never having owned a stockman before I
was, and still am, pleasantly suprized how useful
this knive has been.:D :D

My first Buck was a yellow handled 303 which I carried for several years, the better part of five I think. In 2000 I picked up two brown jigged bone 303s (one to carry and one to keep). My brown bone 303 has found its way into my pocket most every day since. My daughter and my wife each gave me a poly pearl 303 (one to carry and one to put up) and I carry the one my daughter gave me on Sundays sometimes. Also have a red bone 303 which I carry ocassionally and a black one I use for work around the house. I have several Bucks and like them all but the 303 is my favorite.

I've been carrying a brown bone 303 for 2 1/2 years now and it gets daily use. By far one of the best tools I have ever owned.
