I've owned about 6 spyderco knives. Only once has the trademark hole gotten in my way. THE MOST ANNOYING THING ABOUT SPYDERCO FOR ME IS THEY EITHER GET STOLLEN OR I LOOSE THEM AND NEVER FIND THEM. ITS LIKE THEY JUST VANNISH.

HA HA ALMOST WISH THEY WOULD PUT A TRACKING DEVICE IN THEM BECAUSE I USUALLY TEAR UP THE HOUSE FOR A MONTH BEFORE I GIVE UP.

That they're so addictive. Every time I think I've found the perfect knife they come out with another "must have".

If there is anything annoying about Spyderco is that almost all of their knives are not available in left handed models. :(

The most annoying thing I find about Spyderco is that I never know when new models are coming out or that new models even exist until they are just about to come out.

And the Spyderco website is never updated with new product news, so I'm always in the dark.

I had no idea this Stretch model was coming out until I saw something about it here. And I still don't know what the "Manix" is.

I'd love to see some people from Spyderco start posting info on new products and new releases so people like me have some idea what is going on. I mean, Sal keeps us up to date from time to time, but I'd like a more consistant system set up to inform me of new products.

I mean, I might have purchased this new Stretch model if I had known about it, but alas, I didn't budget it out because I didn't know.

That is my only complaint about Spyderco. I think it is really great to find a company that devotes any time to its customers. Sal and others go above and beyond and actually engagein conversation with us. But I figure as long as they are doing that, would it hurt to give us some more info on new releases?

Correct. OTOH, even the older (discontinued) ones aren't there. OK, currently out of stock, I understand, but at least give man some eye candy :(

Speaking for my part, I really dislike the single linered folders (like the CF Police and Delica). I'd like either dual liners or none (prefferably none).

I Agree about the web site update. That's too bad that the site is not update regularly, specially when there are a lot of new wonderfull products! :grumpy:

The most annoying thing about Spydercos is that it is consistently good! :) :D :)

I don't like the way they do carbon fiber. I've only had one, a CF Delica, but I sold it because it just looks cheap to me, too shiny.

An another annoying thing that I havent think. I'm addict to spyderco knives and I would like buy every model :D and I'havent the money for that. :grumpy:
That is a great problem. :D

This is a tough question. It's hard to find fault -- there may be models that don't suit me, but there are many others that do. Spyderco doesn't just have a slew of similar-looking tactical knives -- there's something for everyone.

I guess I'd go along with VultureParade. The Manix may turn out to be be the best knife Spyderco has produced for my purposes, based on the description, and I KNOW I'll buy one if the description is correct (Chinnok II construction with Calypso-style flat ground leaf blade). I'd like to have some idea when it will be released.

The most annoyoing thing about Spyderco is their ability to make my other knives look bad. My Military has made me look bad on a number of occasions. I looked foolish when I bought my Benchmade 710, and again when I bought my Seb. You'd think I'd learn sooner or later. If you need a large folder, just buy a Military and be done with it. Further purchases will only be a waste of hard earned dolars.

Thanks for confirming what conclusion I had too...I've been contemplating getting a larger folder, and it was a battle royale between a Spyderco Military and a CS Gunsite. I've got other CS knives that I like well enough (all fixed blades, tho), and only one Spydie, a plain Delica. Back to the battle: Both are combo-edged, which I'm rather indifferent about. (At least the Mili is available in plain.) The CS is endorsed by Gunsite training center, which is impressive, but adds about $20 over the CS 5" Voyager. The Military is designed for *EXTRA* HD military use, which is more impressive to me. The CS is 5", the Military is 4" (I think), and while I might prefer the extra lenght for SD, it's not *that* important. The CS got a pretty good review in TK, the Mili got a very good review in TK by Jeff Randall! The CS is tip up, the Mili is tip down; I'd prefer tip down myself, in case the blade jiggles open in my pocket! And lastly, the Mili is made by Spyderco, which I think makes a better knife!
WINNER: SPYDERCO MILITARY!

(At least in my little side-by-side comparison.) ;)

I can only speak for myself, but there is always yet another Spyderco to buy.

So far I own a Chinook I, Bob Lum chinese Folder, Dodo and a Civilian

On the to buy list: Military, Endura, Spyderfly, Bob Lum Tanto, Chinook II and . . .

Sal and the rest of the Spyderco family produce knives that are unique and functional.

Never was a big fan until the Dodo, great little knife that cuts like a big blade. I blame it on the Dodo

I love Spyderco knives but I would love some of them alot more if they had handles that weren't smooth and shiny stainless. I mean gritty matte stainless wouldn't be thatmuch more complicated would it?

yeah yeah I realize that this is probably one man's problem.

Awesome knives especially the g10 ones;-)>

Pivot screws for new models are not good because they can not be adjusted. I tried to adjust it but it does not have enough hardness on pivot to turn safely. Finally, pivot screws got screw up

No more Wegner.
No more G-10 Navigator.
Other than that, no problems here...
