All I have are benchmades and Microtechs. I should add a spyderco. Benchmade has the 710 which seems to be the most EDCed by people in the know.

Police? Military? I dunno. I like a big honkin' pocket machete.

Today, I would go for Military. If you want to wait until end of the year, than new G10, Police will be available. Sweet piece with 4 1/4" full flat grind blade.
Or if you want the beast, than you need Chinook.
Regarding most EDCed Spyderco it is Delica, it is best seller.

one 710 slightly roasted with a foliage green salad and a Lum desert coming right away, Sir ! :D

JackBauer24,
Since you are a BM man, the only BM I own is the 520....what a brute! I reserve it for hard-core, heavy duty cutting. What are your thoughts of it?

I have the 5000

LOVE this blade. It's a little fat in the pocket. But by far the smoothest auto I have used. It's 154cm and it has a small chip in the blade though. I don't know why, it's NEVER seen hard use.

edit: I also broke an omega spring in it. had to send it in for repair.

what about the caly 3. Just bought it and love it. Not to big but not small

The Caly3 receives my vote as well, I own several of the other knives listed
but I quit buying more knives after I started edc'ing a Caly3 G 10/ VG10

In my neck of the woods the Spydies I see regularly are the Endura and Delica - good, solid folders at a reasonable price. I've carried my Endura since 1994:)

The original question was What's the most EDCed Spyderco? Gotta be one of their biggest sellers, one of their longest living models right, gotta be either the Delica or Endura.

I would think the most EDC'd Spyderco is probably the Delica. I own at least 100 knives, but carry the Delica everyday.
I have 47 folders and the Delica is my edc 80% of the time. My son got out of the USN after 11 years and he says that the Delica/Endura were the most popular among his shipmates.

I don't carry my Spyderco's as much as I once did (you can blame my Custom Shoppe Buck 110), but when I do carry one I prefer the waved Endura 4.

HOWEVER.....I'm always looking for a plain-edge Endura 3.
I really miss that one and I should have never gotten rid of it.:(

BM710 is damn near just this side of perfect. Honestly though..... I'm concerned with the omega springs. Busted one in my BM5000. I don't like springs.

At first I was a bit worried about the life of the omega springs. But even if one breaks you can still limp along on the other one and even in a worst case scenario get by with no springs and a piece of wood or something like it. I do wish that BM would send out replacement/backup springs. I've never had to send a knife in to them for work but they've always been great about sending out things like replacement clips and pivot screws at no charge, which is nice. I can understand their policy on this, though I wish they could show some flexibility regarding different models. If you can't take apart and reassemble a BM710 then you probably shouldn't be allowed to use knives, whereas the first time I took a 530 apart I had a heck of a time getting it back together.

I consider the Military to be one of Spyderco's absolute best folders. If you want to experience Spyderco's high-tech, high-performance yet understated knives, the Military rolls together many features that Spyderco fans tend to gravitate towards:
- full flat grind
- "splinter picker" tip with excellent blade profile and geometry
- the best SpyderHole (14mm for easy opening)
- open-back design for easy cleaning
- refined nested liner lock with a radiused tang for best wear pattern and longevity
- choil allowing the user to 'choke up' on the grip and enhance blade control

Granted, it's missing the Lockback that is practically a Spyderco trademark but the liner lock is so well done even a huge fan of lockbacks like me doesn't miss it.

Well since the OP likes a larger folder, like the looks of the Military, and stated he is going to try it, my guess the Military would be a great choice. :D

I have a drawer full of knives and the Spyderco Native is the one thats always on my pocket, on duty and off. If I'm going on a long trip or a hike in the sticks, I tote my Spyderco Chinook I.

Id have to say it would be the endura or delica as well. Since walmart started selling the native maybe thats been more popular. Personally I carry a waved delica and a paramilitary.
