Most of the times, people say that Spyderco knives look weird. I used to be one of them until i bought my first knife, either the delica or endura wave. And it didn't take long before Spyderco knives started to look great to me. Just like all other Spyderco users, i'm always trying to convince others to use a Spyderco knives. Throughout my 'journey', i have received many other ridiculous comments from non Spyderco users. However, after much persuasion these people usually decide to buy an ambitious or tenacious and they like it alot.
Recently, i brought my FFG delica to a local gear shop to sell it. One of the staffs over there then took my delica to inspect it (i got no idea why), and he said something so ridiculous that it made me angry (again, i got no idea why).
He said, ''hey, this knife is a defect! look at the tip, it's tilted downwards in an awkward angle.''
So i replied calmly, ''It's made in Japan, and ALL delica FFG have similar tip. Plus it's a Spyderco knife. It's intentional, not a defect.''
Still, he wasn't convinced and still believe that the maker in Japan made a blunder when grinding the blade. Now, that's one ridiculous comment.
