What's the most sentimental Becker you own ?

Mine is a bk2. Purchased awhile back. Made by Ethan himself

No bought from someone. The knife was given as a gift to someone who did work on Ethan's house. The guy sold it to a friend and he sold it to me. I talked to Ethan on the phone. He finished the knife back when he did knives in his garage. Evidently it's a hands on knife and not a factory produced like the ka-bar

Very cool story!

Mines a BK2 as well. I've used it and abused in many different situations. Has a very special place in my heart.

The first Becker blade I bought was "The Brute" and carried it on many fire lines working as a firefighter with the forest service during my 33-year career.

I guess you can say I'm sentimental about it because I quit beating the hell out of it and retired it to the gun safe.

Later, I added the BK-2 that takes the beatings now.... and a few others (4, 5, and 20).

A BK-16 (Ethan's favorite Tweener) that he gave me ... and autographed.

That knife barely sees fresh air unless the safe door opens for some other reason.

Now lest Ethan becomes upset that one of his knives is not getting used, I have a user BK16 as well, but the 16 he gave me is special and will always have sentimental value.

My very first Becker I a purchased.
My user BK11 that Ethan engraved his signature on at a BeckerWest gathering.
I'm usually not very sentimental when it comes to any of my possessions, but this one's special to me.

It is a close call between my first and longest serving Becker, my BK9, and the BK16 that Ethan gifted to me. The 9 means a lot to me because of all the trips it has been brought on, serving faithfully every time, and of course anything from Ethan has special meaning.

I don't have a current pic of the niner, but here is the 16 after I patina'd the blade to a smooth, even black. Comes across in photos like it is coated, but that is actually patina :D

I'm not very sentimental about my tools, but I'd have to say that my BK16 that my FIL got me as a wedding gift is the most special.

mine would be my first ever becker, the BK10. its been through alot with me and jump started an obsession

My very first Becker was a BK9, I used it for over two years and got both custom handles and a custom sheath for it. It's still with me, but it lost its job to the Bk20.

what a great connection for both Ethan and Ka-Bar
I have indulged in a few more of Ethan's Blades but yea this 1 that got me going
