What's the most you've ever spend on knife in terms of a Week's Pay?

1 1/2 weeks for me... However, because of bladeforums and all you people, I have been able to purchase knives at INSANE CHEAP prices, when compared to MSRP(aka what everyone I know that's into knives, but won't even LOOK at Bladeforums pays:confused: :rolleyes: :confused: ). Thanks Y'all, I mean it.
I'm on my third BM 942, second BM 710, etc. My ER MPC is my biggest purchase, but I'm goin' for an Airkat next- my saving grace is that I LOVE Spam.:D
 
5 days (or 4.85 to be precise .... :rolleyes: )

Currently negotiating with my with myself (and my wife) on a commission thats 23 days!!

To be honest it sounds much less scary when expressed like this than it does in $$.

Thanks for the thread - yet another form of cognitive dissonance with which I can conspire to bankrupt myself!! :( :) :p

This would depend on when I purchased the product.

If it were while in school -- 2 months pay

If it were at the height of the PI/Protection work---1.5 days

If it were now --- 2 weeks

Wow! I just calculated it, and my biggest purchase was just over 2 1/2 days. I need to spend more money on knives...

Spent 3 weeks pay on Searles Bowie by NZ maker Bill Reddiex, stunning, never regretted it.
