What's knife stands out in your collection?

For me it's my recently acquired Spyderco Police in Stainless. It's a half inch longer than anything else I carry. It was an impulse buy online and after the fact I regretted it. I prefer small sub 3.25 inch knives for everyday carry and I suspected the police was way to big for me to like. I expected it to be a catch and release before it even arrived. Once I got it, however, I immediately realized I freaking love it. It's so far off the mark of what I usually go for and yet it appeals to me in a strange way. Not sure why.

My grandfather carried this in Europe 1944. When he died, I received it in bad condition and restored it. I'm quite sure it has some bodies on it.

Both the Kizer Ki423 and Spyderco Schempp Rock are very, unique.

CRKT E-Lock Starlight. I actually bought it to give to a friend as a birthday gift, but then he made some comment about only liking liner lock flippers with G10 scales, so I gave him a Kershaw from my collection and kept the CRKT for myself. It's a weird little knife, but weighs nothing and is fun to play with.

(Not my pic, but same model.)

My Diskin Fire, just because it's an automatic. I would never even consider carrying an auto, but the scale release is so discrete and unique, I had to have one. And yes, I do carry it despite what my local law says:)

That's a great knife; I wish he made more non-automatics.

I've got a DDR automatic that I have never carried, and never will. It's my last automatic, and I'm stuck with it. It looks fine, has a decent blade of 154CM, but it's completely inconsistent -- sometimes it fires so hard it nearly jumps out of hand, and other times, it barely makes the lock-up. It also has an annoying rattle. I know a lot of people like Darrel Ralph knives, so I'm assuming this was an anomaly. It's also very out-of-place amongst all the Ti-framelocks.

Also -- the Spyderco K2. It's an eccentric design, and a weird knife, but I like it.

I'm assuming this works by sliding the scale towards the back of the knife? If so that's pretty cool.

My Ti necker. Performs way better than what you read about titanium blades. Mine is very sharp, it does shave hair. The carbidized on one side makes the edge last forever. Great slicer that will never rust or leave a flavor in your food. Used it tonight to cook in the fire pit.

Case Russlock that was a gift from my brother, I don't own any other traditional folders but I love this one.

This Martinez. My only Spanish knife, my only external spring lock knife, my biggest folder, my only horn-handled knife and my only knife gifted from another BF member (from puukkoman)
