What's the oldest knife you own?

I have a Buck 501 that I've owned since the mid 1980's. I bought it brand new from the main shopping mall here in Kahului, Maui. The store name was called HonSport (Honolulu Sporting Goods). I always wanted a good starter lock back blade and bought that. Too bad a guy that was trying to be helpful ruined the blade by sharpening it on a belt sander. I was totally disgusted. But it is what it is. Fast forward to the present and I still have the poor Buck knife and a few additions like a new plain Buck 110 and a semi custom Buck 110 with a damascus rain drop pattern blade. I also bought a new Buck 501 folder.

I bought these two a few months apart in the 70's. The 110 was a lot rougher so I sent it into the spa. They do great things with old knives.

I have my dad's Schrade Old Timer. He died in 1966. I guess I've owned it ever since then but I didn't know I had it until I found it a few years ago. So I've owned it for 52 years.

The knife I actually bought for myself that I've had the longest is a Puma White Hunter bought in 1971. So 47 years.

Buck 102 woodsman. Bought it in '73 or '74.
Was stropping it just last night.
I'd like to see a photo if you would.
I'm about to buy one. I've only wanted one for about thirty years. I think it's time.
I've been searching the forum for info. When did they started offering 5160, how has the sheath changed over the years ? Stuff like that.
Thanks

Think my oldest is an SAK-style that I got as a gift for being a groomsman in my sister's wedding...would be 28 years. Oldest that I bought would be about 24 years. And just for the heck of it, my oldest in terms of age is a Kershaw Trooper from 1978, but I have only had it for maybe 6 years.

My Dragonfly 2 is at least 3 months old. But my CRK I got yesterday has an April 2018 born-on date, does that count?

That would be the middle knife of these - the Western L46-5 my grandfather gave me in September 1965.

I have a few that were half used up when given to me that I have had for 3 to 5 years longer, but I don't have any pictures of them.

My dad gave me a small Case stockman when i was about 5 or so in the late 70's. I do believe i still have that. Don't remember ever losing that one.

Vic Classic that was given to me by my father probably 16 to 17 years ago. I've carried it a bit but honestly the blade is too small for my needs, so it sits in the knife drawer while a bigger SAK usually rides in my pocket. If I carry the Vic Classic, I'll always have another bigger blade on me. Don't think I have ever cut anything with that tiny blade before, but the scissors and tweezers get some use

Second oldest was a fishing knife I threw away the other day because I had completely forgotten to take it out of my kayak's hatch and it rusted to beyond repair. It was a cheap Tramontina wooden handle butcher knife with a 5 inch blade made of soft, no name stainless steel. The blade had probably a quarter of it worn away over the 15 years I had it from all the sharpening done to that soft steel. It had filleted many MANY fish. It was a sad day tossing it in the bin.

The knife I have owned and had in my possession longest is a SAK that my mother gave me in '98. The oldest knife I own in terms of age is an Opinel No. 7 that was manufactured some time between 1950 and 1967, making at least as old as I am. But it has only been in my possession for less than a year.
