Whats the sexiest knife you own ?

Here is mine. This is a very recent addition to my collection. The maker is Don Hanson III. The scan does not really do it justice especially the color of the Mastodon ivory scales. Also it is hard to see the mop inlay on the thumb stud and the contrast of the mosiac damascus bolsters. The knife has anodizied liners with very nice file work. With out a doubt is the best piece that I own. It has the distinction of being the smoothest liner lock I have ever owned.

Tom Carey

Rick Genovese sub-hilt fighter. Ivory scales. Superb workmanship. There is something about fighters that makes me want to own one of everything.

I'd have to say my Himalayan Imports 15 inch Ang Khola khukuri. Simple design, great manufacture, outstanding durability, and dependibility are what makes it so sexy. Other knives just don't compare.

Mine would be a BREND polished NEMESIS. Beautifully double edged and hollow ground, polished like a mirror, sleek and fast. SEXY!!!

Well, I still cant scan all that well, so take into consideration that the knife is much prettier in person. IMO it personifies sexy knife

Richard, try a darker piece of cloth. I used a piece of red crushed velvet and they scanned very nicely. Take care! Michael

The maker name is Victor(I think), it's a damascus over high-carbon laminate in a simple patch-knife style. I just got it from Jens with one of his sheath's, but a new style. As soon as I get a scanner working, I'll post a scan.

Don't forget to pay your taxes...they eventually become my knives:)

I don't have a pix yet but I got a 52100 fixed bladed hunter with triple temper lines and snakewood handle from Mike Manabe recently that is quite stellar .I just orderd a David Broadwell Super elaborate fixed utility with some top secret damascus and walrus all deep relief carved handle I can hardly wait for but my sexiest has to be my Bill Moran skinner with silver wire inlayed maple handle and brass guard circa 1967-68

hmmm! Lets see, the sexiest knife I own, and it has to be the sweetest also... is My Rainy Vallotton Sidewinder ll.

Why? Because of the clean lines of the blade, the seamless construction, and the way that it opens; Smooth, swift, and solid. It's got that bold, tight, solid feel, and the sound of that blade locking up... oooh yea! there isn't anything like it.

When you handle this knife, and feel the weight and heft, the solidness... you just have to say... Oh God! then sit back and have a cigarette. lol :-)
