What's the story on the Katunje?

I love it. I ordered one. What is the story behind this wonderful looking blade?
Help, Madam Yangdu, and other historians....please.

On my last trip to Nepal I saw this particular Katunje blade in Birgorkha Shop. I asked our craftsmen if they could make a replica that we could offer to our customers. This is that replica. I do not have any other history on it at this time. I am so pleased you are happy with your purchase to add to your collection.
