In your opinion, what's the best knife CRKT makes in terms of fit, finish, materials, and performance?

And if your answer is "None are as good as [Brand X]," please don't bother replying. It's not the point of this thread to compare CRKTs to other brands.

I think that the Kaspar, M16, and the Bladelock are all top of the line. I can't wait for the TI handled M16 which I've heard are coming out!

I have quite a handful of CRKT's and I prefer the M-18 overall. The new Crawford Falcon is gaining ground on it though, it's only minus is the fact that the Falcon uses AUS-6 while the M-18 uses AUS-8A.

That pretty much sums it up.
I gave a way a M18 to a friend of mine, and it's very nice piece. My sister love the Crawford Falcon.
I personally have the M16, and the Crawford Kasper, and the Lightfoot Urban Shark. Although they're not "on par" with the other companies around (mainly because of the steel used), I think their fit and finish on all of the knives are pretty consistant, and they would stand well as a representative of "top of the line" CRKT.

So far I would say the M16's and M18's. But I think the Wasps and the D.O.G.'s would give them a run for there money, I will let you know, If I ever get the darn money to buy the two :(

That new Lake Signature is looking pretty good IMHO...

I like the Crawford/Kasper KFF Professional the best, and it would be just about perfect if it came in a "lefty" version.:).

I ditto Glockman... The K/C Pro... Best steel available to CRKT so far. Fits perfectly in my hand, very comfortable and the LAWKS is nice. The M16 was way to small for my hand, and I didnt really like the lock-up.

with a titanium frame lock, I would have said the S2, but for some reason it never caught on.

M16 CF spearpoint.
C/K pro runs a close second.
I'd put bladelock third.

I say its the k/c pro. I just love the feel of that knife. I did not like the c/k in zytel but I do love the alum on the pro.

M-18 is a close second with the new line of m-16's at third.

I handled one of the DOG lock knives. Overall construction of this knife is far above that of my KFF.(which I really like, by the way) It just seems a lot tighter and smoother. It does retail for a bit more though.

There are a lot of thumbs up for the Crawford Kasper and M16's and M18's. However, I have to give my thumbs up to the Apache LE for the best CRKT knife. This is totally just my opinion. Haha, so don't flame me because I seem to be the only one in support for this knife. I love it because of its long and comfortable aluminum handle, spear point blade with ATS-34. CRKT gets bashed sometimes for using AUS6 but this is one of the few knives they make that has ATS-34. Great knife for SD or utility.

I'm in the process of modding my P/K Companion. I'm trying to give it a little recurve. I've come to realize that freehand Dremel + blade = ugly. :)

I like my Lightfoot Urban Shark the best. Very good lock-up, easy to sharpen and very solid. I have the larger model, but I'd really like a "scaled-up" version with about a 4 inch blade.

i do not know if this counts, because it is not a production item and it is pretty expensive. but, my vote goes for the 2002 limited edition viele wasp.

the quality is as good as the best crkt has to offer. and the cool factor is pretty high. plus it may go up in value, it is supposed to be a collectors item.

holdanedge.

My EDC is the Ryan 7 with a straight edge of which I removed the huge thumbstud to reveal a nice hole. This is a great folder with excellent fit and finish. There is no blade play whatsoever and performs admirably. It also fits my hand perfectly and I like the tip down carry. I would have preferred for it to sit a little lower in my pocket though. I also have the P-K Companion with straight edge. A great fixed blade for daily carry. The AUS6 steel is ok, and IMHO for the price, you will be hard-pressed to beat it.
