What's the worst knife you've ever bought?

A Polish switchblade/flashlight combo that was given to me. The stop pin actually snapped, allowing the blade to come almost full circle when activated.

My grandparents having been from the small town of Camillus I have a bunch of older Camillus knives which are great! Well when they re launched them I decided I was going to try one! Ouch! What a Chinese piece of crapola!! The Camillus CM18533: Carbonitride Titanium Cuda Folding Knife! The opening mechanism is such a joke! If you are a retailer that carries this knife you should be ashamed of yourself! This knife is garbage!!!

That would be the first "knife" I ever got, an el cheapo Costco multi-tool which came with a lighter and 2 flashlights. It fell apart after about a month of use, the pieces still lurk somewhere in the basement.

An Extrema Ratio Fulcrum C and an Extrema Ratio MFO.
Will never purchase another E.R. knife again.
Also a SOG Aegis tanto black "assisted" blade w/ camo handle... felt like a cheap toy, got rid of it 2 years ago.

A "Tomb Raider" automatic OTF. It was in 2007 and cost less than $10. The blade had some much play it was laughable and it wouldn't take an edge at all. Any 12-year-old that saw it though it was cool, though.

I'm pretty amazed at the different experiences people have had.

One poster mentioned Gerber's customer service was poor. I'm not a big fan of their knives, but I do have a few that are USA-made. I've used their customer service twice and it was exceptionally good.
I've had a few SAKs (not fakes) and the only problem I ever had was the plastic scales breaking.
Kinda surprised a couple folks mentioned the Benchmade 940. I have had a 941 for a long time and it's one of my absolute favorites. It's been used a lot and sharpened several times. Absolutely no issues except having to loctite the pivot after a few years. I supposed any knife can have a factory defect, but more than one person mentioned it.

Umm probably a SOG Visionary 1, for the price the fit and finish is sub par. I can't believe the 940 and 550 made it into this thread (I have both and mine are excellent).
