Anyway, so I was lolling around today and I found an old, defunct scissor blade. I was really bored, so I decided; why not? I'll make a knife outta this! So I got my ol' scissorblade, and was like.... How am I supposed to do this? In the end i just improvised and created a nice little knife in about half an hour; Tools used
- Scissorblade
- File
- Beltsander
- Dremel
- Hammer
- Wetstone
TO BE
- Sheath and Handle
- Handle made from some softwood(No, I don't know what it is, please dont criticize that because really, its just a friggin knife made from a scissor.)

Anyway, lets get on with the building.
:)

Starting out, I got my scissor blank ready for the operation.

Then I tried to grind it down with a regular wetstone.

That failed....
So I tried the beltsander.

That failed too
Then i tried the file.

And surprisingly, that failed also....
SO I WAS LIKE!!!!!
DREMEL TIME!
Very surprisingly, that worked!

Got it quite hot too-so out came the trustly ol' mug of water

As you can see, it is still very off-centered and makeshift.

So I got ready the ol' belt sander again, with a very coarse grit.

And then another belt, with a slightly finer grit

At this point the knife still cut terrible through some thick paper.

Then I moved onto a much finer grit to get everything outta the blade.

It cut through the paper more deeply and much cleaner.

Then I moved onto the strop to get rid of that annoying wire edge

Afterwords it cut like a beauty through that paper

A couple pics with some concept art..with the knife. I took these with high flash, over some paper with the cut i made with the knife. It came out pretty nice :D

As you can see, it cuts through pretty finely; the shaky parts was because my hands were verrrry slippery at the moment, so I couldn't grip it very well.

And so there we are! A nice little blade made from a scissor!
