The words, "GOLDEN, COLORADO", and then on the next line, "USA", are stamped on the tang opposite the one pictured. "SPYDERCO", and then, "CIN-1 STAINLESS", are stamped on the side we see in the photo.
Overall, the knife is very finely finished, with no sideplay and a very symmetrical grind. The blade-lock junction line is nearly invisible. The blade itself is just a hair under 4" long and .0125" thick at the spine. The OAL open is 9", closed is 5.125" It balances right on the forefinger and is sharp as all get out.
I remember I got it right about the time that they introduced the AFCK. I wonder if maybe its market share was cannibalized a bit by the better known design?
