I do foresee a pre-order for the new Field Knife. It should be a popular nothing-fancy work utility knife that I see carrying the brunt of our work knife line for a while. It will have basically the same "numbers" as the original Field Knife (length, width, thickness, weight etc) but the primary grind is narrowed half a degree (higher grind) and the scraper is removed (c'est la vie) and we're updating the handle a little to our current standards of mind blowing awesomeness. A few small tweaks here and there but we're going to try to maintain the same flavor of the soup, don't want to mess up a good thing.

Scales on the New FK 2 look to be a slimmed down version of the HDFK Scales:thumbsup:

if this is to say 100-150 ought to be plenty to cover demand, then respectfully...... um no. No way. I think you'll find there are many quietly sitting on the sidelines waiting for this knife.

Egads! I, like most, am a huge fan of the FK. Version 2.0 is honestly everything I would want out of the next iteration. And with the previous mention of a thin version being offered, I could not ask for more. (maybe a 4v run, and a D2 run if I'm REALLY being picky). Handle looks great.

That FK2 really looks great :-) pre-order would be awesome :-) :-) :-)

The UF sounds really cool , but I’ll agree with those above me. I think that number might be a little low :-) lol. But if limited to Friday sales only that will be tough for me.

But that FK2 !!! Wow !!
 
Awesome news that the HDFK are coming soon! Iirc, that means they'll be delivered earlier than promised. :cool:

I must not have read (or at least comprehended) this part of your OP correctly when I attempted to respond to RevolverRoger's thread. Can you please clarify if you're thinking a concurrent preorder of both the MC and the HC, or did you mean it as the preorder of the HC will be following that of the MC (which is how I had originally interpreted it!). Is it also possible that an HC preorder may precede an MC one? TIA.
 
Hey, I just try to end up with matching socks, right shoe on right foot, left shoe
on left foot, and shoestrings tied.... MC, HC, BMOC, HDFK, TIA, TLDNR, HVAC, MRBS, Ti, TA, NASK, FK, UF, YouTube, YouAll, HbA1c, Tactical, Tachycardia, JB, JD, DM, PM, FM, AM, OK....... the rest, I just pretend I’m in a Zen state and accept what happens......of course unless it’s a fresh raisin oatmeal cookie - then it’s frikken mine!
