Can you still get 1084? What is it going for ...for a pound? And where can you get it?

I just picked up some from Sheffield but the sizes they have are limited.I was told it was hard to get ????
 
1084 is no longer being made, the last mill that was producing it closed. Steel mills in this country are droping like flies :( Kelly Couples still has some I'm pretty sure.
 
Yes - Kelly is the best source (until he runs out!)
 
Admiral has told me they no longer stock 1084 and that it has been discontinued. They do offer what might be called 1075/1080. It is not 1080. It is 1075 (about 0.72 percent carbon content).
