Can't reach them with phone calls or e-mails. I placed an order a good while back and now with no package or answers, what can I do.
Does anyone know what is going on at Best Knives?

It's not usual for them to take a long, long time to fill an order, and their communication is non-existant. Check out the Good, the Bad and The Ugly in the Exchange forum.

did you try to send a mail directly to mike (in fact, i don't know if it's his real name, but usually someone answer under Mike e-mail)

good luck!

I was going to order from them too. Luckily I checked the archives here, and then thought better of it. They don't have a very good reputation.

they are usually "friendly user" regarding the pro-forma invoice... which is quite helpfull when you live abroad

I have ordered with them in the past and was pleased, that is why i ordered this time.
We do our learning the hard way!

I got great service from them, but they could be a little hard to reach when I first phoned for the order. I ordered a sharpmaker and endura, and the sharpmaker arrived with a broken rod (got to love UPS). Best Knives filled out the claim forms and sent out a new sharpmaker the day I talked to them (it was delivered on Friday, I e-mailed Saturday, and they called me Monday). I ended up with 2 sharpmakers because neither UPS or best knives wanted the one with the cracked rod. I gave it to my dad, and when he ordered the replacement rod, along with the diamond and ultrafine rods, they were shipped out the day after his order was placed (USPS Priority this time, with no issues).

No way !!!

I just placed an order with them last Saturday... but I typed my e-mail wrong; and I've been e-mailed them to ask to change my mail for getting the order info... no response so far.

I've used to order with them in the past and all my orders arrive in a week or so.... very fast considering I live in Mexico...

Maybe they have been having some knid of troubles... Hope I won't regret this order....I was to be my Buck/ Mayo TNT....:(

I guess that's the problem. I live less than an hour from them, and it took weeks for me to get a knife that was in stock. (and only after I had to repeatedly contact them and finally told them to cancel my order)

Just to let you all know that today I received my last order from Best Knives... my Buck / TNT Mayo...

And just 1 week after I placed the order... in my abroad condition; that's the fastest delivery time to me.

Regards !.
