If anyone from Swamp rat or Scrap yard can tell me what's going on with sales.. I haven't seen any knives up for sale in months on either site, although I know they are still in business, since they set up with Busse at the shows... Any clues to when some knives might be up for sale next????? Come on Jennifer, You said that Jerry told you to come after him with a vengence for sales... can't make any sales without knives for sale :-) oh well, if anyone has heard anything, please pass along the info...
thanks.

Some else other than the HCLE would be nice. At least a HCLE 4". Give us something big. Give us something bad.

I bite my tongue! swampt rat does have up the Hairy Carry! Last time I looked there were knives for only people who has preordered.. but like adamlau said, " give us something big and bad!" I loved the old Ratweiler with the subhilt style handle grip... I think it was one of swamp rat's best. Maybe an "anniversary edition Ratweiler is in line?" I would like to see a standard line of knives from Scrapyard and Swamp rat, that everyone could access in between "great" busse designs... Last time I was waiting, I went to Fehrman knives and bought the Last Chance and a Extreme Judgement.. great knives too!

I'd like to see something big and bad, too. I wish Scrapyard would put out another big chopper!

"Gooo!!! Get to tha choppah!" *thick austrian accent* "Run! Goooooo!!!"

I finally got fed up with the BS and moved on. I'll still buy busse combat knives, but the yard can suck it. :)

I will wait for Yard scraps, no problem there. But in the meantime, I will put my money elsewhere. Just picked up a Fehrman Peace Maker a minute ago :) .

I hear Fehrmans are pretty good but I can't get myself to buy one.. It a bit of a silly reason but if I did It would always be labeled the "religious" knife in my acculumation of blades. :barf:

Example ... . http://www.fehrmanknives.com/faith.htm ..LMAO...

I wish these folks would take this crap off the site. It has no relation to the quality of their knives and if anything deters some people for giving such a company their $ .. . Thats just my opinion..

I personally like it. :) It gets a little deep, I think they should have just left it at the first paragraph, but I am glad someone has the balls to stand up for something good if anything that gives me another reason to buy their knives. They feel that God got them to the place they are at right now and without him they would be lost.

I read through that page and it just left me thinking What the Fuc* ????
Are these people for real.... I have been scorned by attending Catholic School for 10 years of my life so I'm a bit touchy on organized spirituality.
It's like me saying the easter bunny helped me get through College..
That is just the way I see things... I am not going to go further on this subject in respect for others and their beliefs.. :)

I like that they stand behind their faith and want to share it with any that are interested. If the message was on the front page I can see how it would rub some folks the wrong way but it's not there or on any of the knife pages that I can find. You have to click specifically on the "faith and values" tab to see their testimony.

Its been a while for Scrapyard, but I'm still waiting for a new knife from them, hopefully it will be soon.

I'm with Gerber knives.. If you are a Christian, you are supposed to be a light unto the world. Giving the Good Lord thanks for your blessing in business and trying to lead other people in the right direction take guts these days "as in old days' I admire Eric Fehrman for his stance; and yes, It helped me to make the decision to buy from him.. But alas, we are on an open forum and all can have their own ideas... If we want to worship a head of lettuce named "ralph" under the 1st amendment we may do so... but that does also not mean they we all must agree with each other, or accept other's ideas.. I guess when we breath our last breathe... we'll see which was the right ideas on life. but in the mean time.. these are nice knives

Give swamp and rat a break..... damn man.....:( just because they have not had a model YOU want in a while doesn't mean that they are not putting out quality blades that others like. I for one LOVE the Birddog, Mud Puppy and the Harry Carie and am pretty sure that a TON of others do as well since they sell out faster and faster each time they come out. I also picked up two custom Swamp's at the last Ganza. Settle down and get off your instant gratification high horse. If you don't want to wait then don't. Spend your money elsewhere. They are both great companies that are run by busse kin(so to speak) so lay off. You are talking crap about my brother and sisters!:grumpy:

This is aimed at DIN

My instant gratification high horse would like to see more than 3 knives put out in a years period of time... yes, they are at the Knob Creek Ganzas, and have some excellent blades there.. "I do have quite a few of their's too" But their output on their home pages have been less than adequate by Most buyers standards. And Yes, I do spend my money where their is a Quality, and mostly supply. Calm down Tanker.. I'm not on your Bros and sisses... only stating my point about availability, and that is what these boards are designed to be for.. disagree with me if you wish, that is your perogative, but all you have to do is to have glanced at their webpages for a while and you must admit there have been a lot of dry periods where NOTHING has been for sale at all. Got the Ratweiler, Yard Hook, and Dog father LE, all nice knives, but I and a lot of my knife buds would like to see something offered at all times like Busse does.
And that's all I've got to say about that. :-)
