What's up with Swamp rat and SCrapyard

I've been a regular on the Scrap Yard forum for a long time. I'm on "time out" right now for "bad behavior". My position regarding the Yard is simple. Contrary to popular opinion, I really don't mind waiting for Scrap Yard knives. I've been around long enough to understand how the Busses operate. What I mind is when Dan says he's going to do something and then doesn't do it. If that happened every once in awhile, I could probably ignore it. But it happens far more often than every once in awhile.

Oh I agree with you fbusmc. I don't agree with some of the other comments from other members(see above). I would LOVE to see some more knives come out or both companies. I am a avid collector and user of all Busse kin knives and trust me I have been on there home pages many many times hoping and wishing for something. Din's comment is the one that sent me off the deep end.
 
i make a great knife too, but, what u do is your business!!!!! i'm not into preaching, people know inside themselves if they are good with there Maker,, my knives have No Bearing on that!! thats my personal opinion.

The religious stuff is odd on the Fehrman site, but I ordered a Last Chance a few weeks ago... I can't wait to check this baby out!!
 
I think he means it's odd to see it on the site. Me, I'm all for it. It's nice to see a fellow believer making the truth known. And to boot, he makes great knives.

Hi, I used to post occasionally on the SY forum, but have decided to lay low. I still occasionally read there, but do not say much. I just got too frustrated waiting for a 10 second long release and then 6 months to get the knife, which then turned out to be dull (in more ways than one). I still spend time and money on the Swamp and Busse. I just got got a Crash Axe at Rat Mischief (great fun) and a Dog Skinner from the exchange (thanks Dan Brown). Looking forward to your return to the Yard. Hang in there friend.
 
Guys,
I'm locking this one down for any of the following reasons.

1) Wrong forum, should have been posted on either or both of the Swamp Rat or Scrapyard forums.

2) Dangerously close to a Bash thread on Scrapyard (appropriate forum would be GBU)

3) And then this is the Busse forum and there is next to no Busse content in this thread, a lot of Scrapyard, Swamp Rat and Fehrman but no Busse

And Swamp Rat has had 6 different Blades available since Blade Show in June
( 2 styles of 4" HC SE's, 2 Styles of 3.5" HC SE's, 1 HC LE, and Crash Rat's in G10 SE)
