What's up with the Demko AD15?

This new model looks like a fantastic blade with a very unique (and strong) locking mechanism. But there seems to be a lot of catch-and-release AD15s hitting the exchange. Wondering if there's something about it that isn't clicking with buyers.

Can anyone who has purchased and/or handled one chime in on their experience with this knife?

I havn't handled one but don't let the catch and release scare you off. It always happens with new models in the spotlight. There are many people that pre order whatever interests them and then decide what to keep and what to release after they get them in their hands.

I have 4 AD15's and love them. Silky smooth action, super ergonomic handle, rock solid lockup, not only is the scorpion lock very comfortable to disengage its super fun to play with!

I think the catch and releases are from speculators who freaked when they realized they couldn't make money on the knife. Demko has a hard time selling them at his table price so I have to imagine that secondary prices are a good bit lower than table.

I can't weigh in on why but I am interested in trying one. Its good for me to hear this design won't cost me too many hours of my life. I'm one of those people that trades hours of my life for federal reserve notes.
