What's up with this BS!!!

I strongly dislike fakes. I’m surprised there’s not fake TG out there. I’m not looking and I don’t wanna know. All of it is disgusting.

And copying them isn’t hard with today’s technology.

I’ve been playing with a $70k laser scanner at work the past week, and let’s just say that in that short time, I could almost perfectly counterfeit a Spyderco PM2! And that’s without any previous use or training on the laser scanner software/hardware.

This.
just my opinion, with current technology, copying model is very easy.
But even with today advancement, they will have a very difficult time to reproduce infi, Sr101, busse heat treat and Busse brand image (which is what I buy actually).
'IF' they could reproduce it, then I am sure by that time Jerry will have come up with even better steel & HT protocol, our gain.
Counterfeits could actually be a gate way, I have had few counterfeit knives early in my knife hobby (no normal guy will start with $300-400 knife) but once I held the originals I graduated and never look back, there is no competition.
Consumers that are easily satisfied with cheap subpar steel/heat treat isn't Jerry's, just let someone else have them.

With incredibly vast options available online today, it is time that buyers should also take responsibility of what they are buying, who they are buying from, at what price.
Do a research of what you buy before you buy it, a scam is a two way road.

Knockoffs with crap steel and no logos I can deal with. Fakes/counterfeits that use an official logo, I cannot justify. Only reason anyone should buy a cheap knock off (not a fake with a logo) is if they like the design but don't want to worry about losing 300 dollars when its taken from them by the law. I only carry a crap knockoff when im out riding. Incase the event happens where im pulled over and searched, id rather not have my 300$ microtech stolen so i carry a crap version with NO LOGO OR BRAND NAME that i can easily replace. this is the only acceptable reason to buy a knock off in my opinion.
