So Ive tried to contact through e-mail,and by phone this WSSI company because Ive got some wood i want stabilized. it's been like three weeks or more and I've left messages, and still no response??? maybe my order is to small for them i don't know. Ive probably got a little over 20 lbs of wood to be done(just guessing).

so anyone know another place to have this done?? or a good reason why i have been ignored??

I've had that problem before.. Just send it and in a week or two it reappears at your door stabilized and ready to scale!

It's not the size, nor (I believe) anything personal. A few weeks back I sent in six pounds. Came back 10 lbs. The Blade show may have them backlogged a bit. It took them a while to get back to me, because of it. There's another thread here, from not too long ago, where Tracy Mickley mentioned another company that also does quality stabilizing.

Texas Knife Supply also does stabilizing but I haven't dealt with them. Mike at WSSI will get back to you or just send it with the order form.

As far as I know it is not Texas Knifemakers but K&G out in Arizona that does the stabilizing. Mike

A couple weeks ago, Mike told me of tornados. Now I read Iowa is flooded something terrible, though Ionia doesn't seem on the flood watch list. WSSI is the best and worth the patience. Right now, Mike has 2 batches of my wood - between $4000 - $5000 worth. It's in good hands.

Rob!

mikes a great guy. just send it to him and it will come back stabilized
