Whats ur hard use fixed blade

Becker BK11 / 14 here as well. BK2 is a harder use knife, but it's also larger than your specs.

Beckerhead #42

DPX Hest, short and thick so its very sturdy and the little prybar at the end of the handle is great for removing staples etc

i am thinking about getting a fixed blade and i was wondering wat some people on here were carrying. I am trying to find one no bigger that 4in do to laws but something i can have do stuff i cant do with my folders but is slim that way it doesnt draw attention.

These are my two favourite small fixed-blades. I think either would work well for you...

Becker BK-11 (custom scales & sheath) and ESEE Izula 2 (stock kit)

I also enjoy my Boker Plus Tom Krein Pocket Bowie...

ESEE,TOPS.BUSSEKIN,BECKER, all offer fine knives for beatin on. I usually carry an izula 2 or a BUCK gen 5 skinner the cpm154 and rose wood version.the buck may not be a hard use but has seen harder use than the esee. i locked my self out and had to pry the screen off to open a window.

I think bk 11 is the best thing only thing I might not like is the handle but, I'm not going to judge just on that if I don't like it I'll get handle scales or paracord

I've used my Izula pretty hard and my Strider very hard. Those are part of my edc rotation. When I go hiking or camping, I bring my Tops 107C and RMD to really use and abuse.

This week I got my first few SURVIVE! GSO 5.1 that are just begging to be tested to the limit.

I'm really liking my Bark River Bravo Necker II in 3V. Can't get much tougher than a full-height convexed blade in 3V.

I've been enjoying my Koster Bushcrafter with a full flat grind in 3V.

It cuts through things easier than its scandi brother due to the blade geometry and it's tough due to the blade steel.

Dan is making more of them if you spec it for the flat grind. I think it's an unsung hero in his line of knives.

It sounds like you are speaking about the smaller original HEST. But from what the OP gave as his guideline for a blade, the DPx Gear HEFT 4" Blade fills everything he said. Blade is 3.94" German made Lohmann Niolox stainless, spine is 0.19"/ weighs in at 7.05oz. with an overall length of 9.05oz. It's badassery no doubt, incredible steel. Check out their website and take a look at her or go to google images. I'm a believer in the Niolox steel.

That knife is perfect only thing I don't like is the price. Still leaning toward bk 11 for now then saving for DPx HEFT once I have a little more money to put into a knife like that

Becker BK-11 or BK-14 are ideal. The 11 is great because once you're done beating on it, it will open your drink :D
