What's with the extra parts with surface grinder?

I got my new surface grinder in. Surprising well made. Had to fix the counter weight cable first thing. Seems they didn't lock it down for shipping and it bounced till it broke. Luckly I had some cable the same size so no big deel fixing it.

The instruction manual was pretty well laid out, but didn't mention what the sloted bent bar looking wrench was for, or the "looks like extra stone shaft but lacks a spline or keyway" The diamond dressor was pretty easy to figure out.

Any ideas?

there should be a spanner for removing the wheels...ans there should also be a wrench for removing hubs...it may be a wheel balancing tool also...:) got a pic?

I've got a spanner for the rock, and I think your rite, it's a wheel ballancer, but how to use it when there's no spline or key way? Still don't know what the slotted bent rod thing is. Love them complete instructions!
