what's with the innertubes?

I just happened to have one lying around in my basement. I think years ago before I got turned onto the whole 'ranger band' concept I had saved it with the vague idea of using it as slingshot material or something. One bicycle inner tube will make a LOT of ranger bands.
 
Man, you learn something new every day. I have a flat bike tube hanging in the garage that I knew would be useful for something someday. Time to start cutting.
