the kershaw and baseball thread lol. i will be happy if Dunn takes one of those curves and puts it into the Ohio river he wont whoop cincy if he pitches in GABP. those will hang go a loooong way.

well Jose Lima found that one out the hard way . i still remember whatchin that on TV. only wish i could have been there.

I looooove my Groove. Its a pretty groovy cutter.

What are you talking about? I love recurves! And I have absolutely no problem with sharpening (I use a Spyderco 204 which deals easily with any blade).
IMHO, especially for outdoors, it's hard to get a better blade shape than a recurve. But also, did you notice how neat is to spread peanutbutter with a broad flat recurved blade?

Recurves have their advantages sure..
When I'm on the job my main EDC is a recurve blade, I find it easier to cut things in the sense that I feel theres more teeth and grab to whatever I'm cutting because of the hump.

But for sharpening I still have problems getting it to to shaving sharp. but meh w/e
