...Was just browsing through the "bay" a few minutes ago and saw a really nice looking '89 110 FG with sheath, that had 53 seconds left in the auction...with NO BIDS :confused: !!!???...All I said was "FINGERS DON'T FAIL ME NOW!!":rolleyes: ...LOL...Somehow I managed to type in the pertinent info and tossed out a bid of $26 buckerinos...Starting Bid was set at $24.99...Would you believe I popped that knife for $24.99...:eek: :eek: ...Okay now...I know that y'all know something that I don't...Is this knife cursed??...Is it infested with martian creepers???...Does it stink???...Did it spend some time in gooser's boot???...How come none o' you's guys bidddded on dis one??...huh, huh, huh???...:eek: :confused: :confused: :D

What did you use for your search? I just type in "Buck 110" and go through the list. I must've missed that one :(

Truly, I regret your disappointment that I did not "quip" ya on your stellar find. I have decided to turn a new leaf and be kind, mature, and sensitive to my forum brethren that have taught me so much and have so much more to offer me, a neophyte amongst scholars.

Congratulations on your new knife. Have to go...there are two gentlemen in dark suits that just rode up the driveway on bicycles at my door.

Today, I need my lawn mowed and roof gutters cleaned out. Bike needs cleaning too Darryl. Oh, and my NightHawk needsto be sharpened after being thrown in the dirt a few times yesterday.

Hurry...we are having waffles, bacon, and eggs soon. Tonight we may go out for chinese food.

I just went to look and see how this listing was going then I noticed the seller is good ol' Whatabeaut.

I saw that listing. That's a 1982 110FG without radiused edges. You don't see many of those, as that configuration was only available in 1982 for a few months only. That one even has the natural, un-dyed leather sheath; which is rare in its own right. Everything is correct with this one: box, paperwork, and sheath. However, the price is a bit high. I personally wouldn't go above $125.00 on that one. It is missing the tissue/onion paper and the small piece of paper telling the consumer to wipe the thin coating of oil off before use. For the current price it is being offered at, I would want it to include everything and be 100% complete.

"whatabeaut" is a reputable buyer. I can personally state this from past experiences. He is a very fast payer and quality communicator. However, I have not purchased from him. I certainly would purchase from him if he had what I was seeking though. He's solid in my book.

Good data...another thing learned here about the 110.

I don't have a single prob with Whatabeaut. It's just there have been tmes where I watch auctions and he tries so hard to win and gets nosed out.

It's like a horse race...Whatabeaut in the lead...coming around into the straight...here comes Bidder-X catching up...Whatabeaut held the lead until now...Whatabeaut beat by a nose!
Makes me kine feel bad for the fella...
