What's wrong with me?

Your story sounds a lot like mine but I did my research and started with a Busse. (Un)fortunatelly my one good knife turned into 30+! :foot:

For years Spyderco knives were great. I shopped and shopped before spending my first "big money" on a Bark River. For some reason now I dont blink at buying an XM-18 or whatever Busse is out. Very bizzare how this happens.

Hey Scrapmetal, and all other INFI lovers, Welcome to the MADNESS, as stated before. Here is my story, I started with Randall knives, then I found Busse. Well after over 100 purchases, trades etc., I am still here. My wife has not killed me yet, although close. Some folks do not understand, but thanks to this FORUM, we all do.

NO REGRETS

It is bizzare, isn't it? I mean, my "disposable" income has increased over the last few years, so it's certainly easier to afford them... but that can't be all of it. I just simply find it more reasonable to spend $4-500 to get the knife I want now.

That's one that hasn't got me yet... I've always wanted a Randall, but so far have been able to keep my money in my pocket on that one. I suppose it's the long wait time for ordering and the fact that I've never seen just the right one on the secondary market.

You're a Ford man from Iowa? :D You hang in there and keep spending. Amy-O has a cat to fix and everyone has to sacrifice right now.:thumbup:
