I have seen the rear site break off a Glock as well. He was using crappy reloaded ammo that had swollen the case a little. He reloaded them hotter yet & it stovepiped in the chamber. When he was trying to slam the slide closed with his gloved palm, the rear site broke off. I have also read of many others who have had thier rear site break off for one reason or another---all on Glocks.

I always put night sights on my glocks anyway. Problem solved.

yeah night sights would be great, although i have yet to shoot it, it looks really uncluttered.i am definately going to try it first, while i wait for my tax return.
