A couple of knives with special meaning for me. My papaw’s small stag pen that he carried for years went to church with me this morning, then to my moms to open gifts and scratch off a few lottery tickets (probably it’s most frequent use when he carried it). After that I took my father in law’s stag trapper to his house for our first Christmas without him. It was his father’s knife for years before it was his. We all used it opening gifts tonight.
