What's Your 4th Carry? (Traditionals only please)

Since I ordinarily carry two knives (Alox Electrician and Opinel No.6), before I could decide on a Fourth knife, I had to pick a third. In deference to the gravity of the occasion, I went USA-made for both selections. My third was actually my first choice for the Fourth, but since it is not Traditional, I had to leave the 284 Bantam in the less honored spot. As a result, my pick for the Fourth was the 2018 Forum knife, the two-bladed Buck 301.

Interestingly the only person of English heritage to get anywhere the British throne for nearly 300 years was Diana Spencer....

I ended up watching some random YouTube video about the inbreeding of the British royals. I'm not sure how it works, but apparently the old girl was the least inbred of all the British monarchs, but because her husband was heavily inbred, and married his cousin, the current arse on the throne is the most inbred in history :eek:

Thought I'd show some solidarity yesterday ;) :thumbsup:

*the name of the inveterate boozed up rake who is likely most redponsible for costing the British Empire control of the Americas...and an accquaintance of John Wilkes at the Hellfire Club.....but hey we got sandwiches.
 
While Im at it...does anyone know the British Royal family surname...if they went by the same rules as the rest of us?

In 1917 they chose the name Windsor (they didn't have a last name but were styled as being of the House of Saxe-Coberg-Gotha: Not exactly English 😲) but since 1973 it has been Mountbatten-Windsor.

LOL! :D I never knew that about Sandwich! 🤣 As if he had to be the first person to think of sticking some meat between a couple of slices of bread! :rolleyes: Anymore than the toff, who cheated at football, and supposedly invented rugby! 😏😆

Didja catch Joey Chestnut's annual 4th of July Nathan's hot dog eating contest? He's still the champ (I think his record was 76 in 2021)!

Of course I watched it! Miki Sudo won her 9th victory with 39.5 hot dogs & buns, just shy of her record of 40.

He might be a contender. There was one competitor from Leeds there, but I don't think he finished in the top five. Maybe next year.

LOL! I figured! 😁 The guy from Leeds has a YT channel. Maybe we should get him down to the market! 🤣👍

 
I watched some of that event yesterday at the pub....my compadres and I all agreed it was utterly disgusting. What a stupid waste of 'food'.I don't want to burst anyones pimple but stuffing down the gullet of wet bread rolls and processed meat is a low point for humanity and I'm questioning the connection with the meaning of July 4th.
