What's your choice for a "car" utlity knife?

I got a couple of old worn fixed blades in behind the seat of the pickup along with all kinds of used stuff that comes in handy.

I leave a Spyderco Temperance fixed blade, barteaux 24" machete, and Estwing hatchet in my truck.

I have a small fixed blade (semi-serrated) on the outside of a small emergency pack in my glove compartment.
I have never used it and don't want to need to!

I usually leave a stainless sodbuster jr. sitting around in the glove box in case I somehow forget to carry a knife in my pocket, but that's a very rare occurrence.

I keep a Leatherman Wave in my car. Actually it's in my day pack, but the day pack stays in the car virtually all the time.

I have a Greco boot knife velcro'd under the dash, a small belt tool pack with an old Gerber multitool, beater folder with serrations, paracord, flashlight, matches.

Circa 1968 Boy Scout knife. You know, the one with the blade, screwdriver, hole punch, and bottle opener. :-) I put it in the glove box of my first vehicle in, uh, 1971 I think, and keep moving it every time I buy a new car/truck. On the rare occasions that I need it I think "I wonder if that old knife is still in the glove box" and search around till I find it. I think it's probably my oldest possession.

Thanks so far to you guys. I have always thought about what knife to keep in my truck, and I'm taking a lot of yalls recommendations or current car knives into consideration. I might have to put my LM Charge AL in my truck. Thinking about putting my BK2 in the tool box, or my KABAR Camp knife.

The knives in my car are more for emergency use.

I had a Leatherman Wave in there, but it's now in my EDC pack because I commute on weekdays. When get around to buying a Vic SwissSpiritX, back in the car it will go  I have a Spyderco Delica in the glove compartment also.

I carry a Fallkniven F1, and a Mora as part of the car emergency kit (and also used for impromptu hikes). In addition, I have a Becker BK9 on the way that might live in the car for emergency use and camp beater (when not on hiking trips). Also, I have a pocket chainsaw in the car emergency kit; came across a downed tree on a remote road a while ago, had to backtrack. Might have been able to continue if I had the saw.

a SAK of some sort, a dozier is about to go in there. rc5 has been in my trunk lately but isnt usually

I keep a leatherman knife clipped by the belthook to the windshiled tiedown on my Jeep. This knife is used mainly for trimming cigars and opening packages.

spyderco spydiecard SE for seatbelt, swisstool for fixing and SAK knife for food in the car
and a small gerber ax in the trunk, usally for camp firewood

I keep a Busse FFBM stashed in the trunk. 99.9% of what I need a knife for, I can do with my EDC. The other .1% calls for something a bit bigger.

That one's not mine, but mine looks just like it- except dirtier. And I have a better sheath than that.
