This is a great thread, stumbled on it by accident. Would like to read some more stories so I'm gonna bump it.
lets see, I'm as common as they come so I dont have a great life-list (so far, dangit I'm working on it!)
Once put what was described a "textbook perfect" nosetackle on a mexican fightin bull in a rodeo halftime "Ring'o'Fire!" event. I'm proud to say I slowed him down for a second, but he won. And I was stone-sober at the time TYVM.
Have seen Old Faithful erupt more times then the average joe, a few dozen times (lived in YNP for almost a year 04-05). Best "show" was the late nite, full moon, snowing, Northern Lights in background, eruption I was lucky enough to witness.
Saw Terri Clark in a Montana grocery store once. I was looking her over because she is HAWT (legs legs oh my lord the legs!) and she looked me over cuz I was only one in store taller then her (lil over 6'6'' barefooted)
Have been within 15 yards of a Grizzly in the wild (NOT on purpose) and have been fake-charged by a Bison to within 2'...both thanks to my Yellowstone time.
Got to watch an airshow at Miramar (where they filmed Top Gun) and was there for the 100th Anniversary of Naval Flight show.
Not really an impressive list...but I've had a lot of fun, traveled to/seen a lot of cool places and met a bunch of great people.
