If you were about to go for the 'big jump'.... what would be your last meal?

My wifes Japanese Kutsu Curry is right up there for me. Also Chips and gravy would have to be in there. Plus, and I'm not kidding here, the Apple Pie I had at Jock and Jill's Sports Bar was next level. Once I had tried it.... I went back every day of Blade show and had it again.... One day I think I had it for breakfast!

Kutsu Curry with Jap Rice - Or - Roast pork with crackling
Chips and Gravy - Shoestring
Jock and Jill's Apple Pie with runny cream
and 5000 year old Scotch - neat.

Lawrie

Tacos, rice and beans and a 6 pack of Founders All Day IPA

McDonald's, Soup, Tacos.... I have to say, not what I was expecting.

Any takers for Grandma's key Lime Pie or sumsuch?

Lawrie

Either a BBQ induced coma,,, or My wife's Indian food (she's not Indian but you'd think she was).

I definitely agree with the chips and gravy as a must have! Or its cousin; mash potato with peas and corn smothered with gravy

Another would be woodfired margherita pizza with extra basil & chilli (ye, it has to be woodfired and not oven):D

Antipasto with Greek and Kalamata olives, sharp provolone, Asiago, Romano, and Cheddar cheeses. Imported salami, dry sausage, and pepperoni. Fresh cut vegetables like peppers, tomatoes, broccoli, artichoke, etc. Rosemary flat bread, pepperoni bread, and French baguettes.

In all seriousness - a peanut butter and berry sandwich. Now not just any old but using:

1) A delicious multigrain bread or ciabatta

2) Crazy Richard's crunchy peanut butter or Santa Cruz - dark roasted chunky.

3) Fresh Maine blueberries - or (a poor substitute) some organic low sugar, pretty much nothing added, blueberry preserves.

Make it thick - better yet - give me 2 - accompanied by the best cup of dark roast French coffee or lighter but still full bodied, Kenyan or Columbian - just a bit of whole milk - no sugar and definitely no added flavors.

I might be gonna die but I'd be smiling for the simple good things in life.

Cheers, Ray

Of course some BBQ ribeye and a high end Cabernet Franc is smiling food too! :D

Now that's what I'm talking about! Ray here is really feeling the groove. What you describe sounds amazing dude. I'm gonna look up that Santa Cruz - dark roasted chunky.

Cheers,
Lawrie

First of all I would request a big fat blunt to help get the munchies going :D:D

After that I'll take a plate of Chicken Schnitzel with a Scallopini and Pasticcio for starters.

Second course would be a 1kg Wagu Ribeye on the bone, medium rare on a bed of mashed potatoes and two grilled Corns on the side. A bowl of cracked pepper sauce to dunk every bite.

A nice big bowl of Iceberg Lettuce, Cucumber, Cherry Tomatoes, Salad Onion and Red Capsicum to accompany the first two plates and a few liters of water to wash it down.

For desert i'd knock over a whole Apple Pie topped with crumbled nuts and a 1kg of Vanilla bean ice cream. A couple Ferrero Rocher would go down nice too..

When the food is all said and done, a bottle of Johnnie Walker Diamond Jubilee whisky would be nice to try..

I could die happy after all that

Last meal!?! Easy:
It would be at a table with my wife and boys consisting of all of the following. Farm raised eggs, (the thick shelled orange yolk kind ;)) with a good cheese on top, bacon, ham, some yak burger with a little bit of garlic salt and onion powder to enhance the already great flavor, mashed potatoes with the skins, corn, broccoli, carrots, some apple pie that tastes like the one I snuck from the chow line in basic, some fresh Pescado Almondrado from that little Rocky Point bayside joint (or the fresh snagged salmon from that summer creek in Alaska), Cheez-its that stopped 19 days of dysentery when nothing else would in the sandbox, Double Stuf Oreos, a strawberry milkshake, and polish it all off with a whole bottle of Lagavulin. Might as well go out celebrating good times, great memories and no regrets! :D

Are you guys on death row at a 5 star restaurant? I don't think most prisons would allow this.
